Mike, a long time creative in Canada, won the Gold Bessy and was awarded at Cannes, the Clios, the One Show and many others.
Worked for J. Walter Thompson and FCB/Ronalds Reynolds before starting my own company, Awesome Creative.
Next stop was Hong Kong. At Batey, I wrote the Gold Kam Fan Award-winning spot for Ericsson, subsequently won awards for DDB, Dentsu, EuroRSCG, TBWA and others.
My account list is lengthy and, in Canada, includes Nestle, Toyota (CD for national, regional and local Toronto business), Air Canada, McDonald’s, a lot of beers and a lot of banks.
In Hong Kong: Canon, Intercontinental Hotels (all Asia), Lexus, Absolut, Huawei worldwide, AIA, Wyeth, banks/financial institutions (Standard Chartered, HSBC, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and a raft of others).
My own company (HARTCO) has been the creative arm of Lloyd&, a branding/marketing firm specializing in commercial real estate properties like Citibank Plaza. ( Also see website lloyd-and.com ).
Perhaps it looks like I am pushing “experience” as a selling point.
The real deal is about “enthusiasm”. And one without the other just doesn’t work.
